Blown Away In April

You guys have absolutely blown me away. Since opening on the 12th April, we hit all time sales records. I honestly can’t thank you enough. This is without any promotions or whatever. Why no promotions?

As a business that has been hit hard due to the pandemic it’s important for me to see what the business can do for itself without any hyped up promotions. It’s certainly proved itself the last 2 weeks, you guys appear to love the shop as much as I do. Also, I value the talent and quality of the goods that I sell, and don’t want to devalue them to keep up with everyone else’s offers. The stock I buy isn’t mass produced, it’s handmade, by amazing families.

Made By Hollie

“Made By Hollie” is a brand new category on the Feral & Funky Kids Co website. In this category you will find personalised socks, t’s of the week etc. These are not my hand drawn designs, generally slogan tee’s and personalised bits, thus enabling me to reach a wider audience. I’ve had loads of custom requests for items mentioned above so it just made sense to keep all that under one category.

Jokerz Get Left Behind

The final week of April brought me an amazing delivery from the fabulous Bec at Jokerz Get Left Behind. If you didn’t already know this is an anti bullying brand. Something that I absolutely detest is bullying, the thought of someone bullying my children petrifies me. I think it’s great that together we can raise awareness of this in a children’s store. Due to popular demand I did bring in some adult sized designs too. New stock is due to be listed on the website this week.

Family Time

Nothing really to report here. As we have all been busy getting back into our work and school routine. Arlo and Axll had a sleepover at their cousins (they,ve been in our bubble since the start of lockdown for childcare reasons). Tiffany organised the fabulous Moon and Stars Teepees for the kiddies. And requested sleepover tops to match the theme. They had an absolute blast.

In store Loyalty Scheme

This is something I’ve been thinking about for a while. I get ALOT of returning customers in Feral & Funky Kids Co. So I have created some loyalty cards for the shop. Each time you spend £10 you will get a stamp on your loyalty card, once you have 10 stamps you will receive a £10 gift voucher for your next shop with us. Its just a little way of thanking you for your continued support.
